About The Founder

My name is Tsavo Neal, and I'm an entrepreneur, writer, content strategist, BJJ purple belt, and assistant BJJ instructor under Ritchie Yip at InFighting in Burnaby, BC. I started training jiu-jitsu in 2019 and I've been hooked ever since. Now, I train 3-4 times per week.

In July of 2021, I broke my leg while training jiu-jitsu. It sucked. But I was determined to get back on the mats. That's when I started to take my training seriously. From my own personal jiu-jitsu style to my protective gear to my home mats, I wanted to invest in the best gear. And it's paid off. At 32, I feel stronger and healthier than I did before I was injured.

My mission is to equip grapplers with the best BJJ gear, instructionals, and training tips so they look, feel, and perform at their best on the mats. I research, curate, and review the best BJJ gear and courses I can find — and then share it with them through this site.
