It doesn’t stretch when your sweat soaked in the heat of battle, and performs consistently roll-after-roll, day-after-day.

3. Tatami
About The Brand
“Tatami Fightwear was established in 2009 with the goal of addressing the need for high quality Jiu Jitsu products at affordable prices. Founded by Gareth Dummer and Lee Jones in the heart of South Wales, Tatami now has a diverse and driven team committed to expanding the sport worldwide. Gareth, himself a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt, had spent years teaching the sport in lower income areas and local communities and found it increasingly difficult to find high quality products that his students could afford. That is where Tatami Fightwear came into the equation. From day one, we’ve worked tirelessly to develop innovative products and support the growth of the sport and make it accessible to a wider-ranging audience. Our aim is to expose combat sports to more people worldwide and uphold the values of BJJ, and this drives our work with associations such as the Royal Marines REORG foundation that ties into our mission statement to make the sport accessible to all. After 12 years of continuous development and innovation, our range now includes performance and lifestyle gear, from Gi’s to rash guards to leisurewear and everything in between, to showcase people on their Jiu Jitsu journey. As well as having a loyal and growing customer base, we are proud to support some of the world’s best Jiu Jitsu athletes and pioneers, such as JT Torres, Vitor ‘Shaolin’ Ribeiro, Robson Moura and Michelle Nicolini, and also sponsor some of the next generation of up-and-coming stars that buy into the Tatami Fightwear mantra.”

6. 93 Brand
About The Brand
“We’re a small company run by New Yorkers.
We, along with most American grapplers, would never have been introduced to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu if it were not for the events of November 1993.
When Royce took to the octagon over 20 years ago, I remember watching it on a scrambled PPV channel with my cousins and uncles in the Bronx.
While Bruce Lee is the reason that many Americans aspired to do martial arts in general, that infamous eight-man tournament in ’93 is the reason that a lot of Americans developed an interest in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu specifically.
So as a shout-out to the year responsible for introducing the US to grappling, we are 93brand.“
Featured Gi
“Standard Issue, part two! Slightly lightly fabrics, but with some upgrades. Thoroughly preshrunk and washed, meaning shrinkage will be on par with our higher-end BJJ Gis. The new weaves are a touch lighter on the scales, but more tightly woven and significantly more resistant to shrinkage… plus the extended knee panel and doubled up skirt paneling will ensure your Standard Issue is still plenty ready for hard sessions. And, of course, we kept it all crispy clean: White fabrics, white stitching, no contrast accents or threads, not a single exterior patch or branding.”
What Jiujiteiros Are Saying
“I like 93 brand. They are cheaper than the fancy brands and last a while.” –u/15stripepurplebelt
7. Scramble
About The Brand
“Martial arts lifestyle. Jiujitsu counterculture since 2009.”
Featured Gi
“The Athlite is Scramble’s flagship competition gi, a subtle yet stylish take on the competition kimono, with a clean and fresh aesthetic. Crafted to a high standard, the gi is light in weight yet strong, able to withstand comp training and the competition mats. Available in three colours to suit every occasion and competition. This is the sixth generation of Athlite, bringing with it our many years of innovation and cutting edge design.”
What Jiujiteiros Are Saying
“The combined fit, artistic nature, and supreme quality literally make this gi the top gi that I have ever owned. That’s saying a lot considering I run my own gi brand. But as they say, “game recognize game” and Scramble continues to impress with this latest offering.” –u/thebjjprogessor
8. Kingz
About The Brand
“Since 2011, Kingz Kimonos has aimed to develop the highest quality Jiu-Jitsu gis and apparel, with superior attention to detail and design.
Based and operated out of San Diego, California, we have over 30 combined years of experience as practitioners on the mat… so we know what works, what doesn’t and what our customers expect in a high-quality gi. Before any Kingz Kimono product is launched, it endures months of rigorous testing from the highest level of Jiu-Jitsu athletes and competitors.
We are dedicated to provide our customers with the highest quality and most stylish Jiu Jitsu gear available.”
Featured Gi
“The jacket of the Classic kimono is made from 450 GSM Pearl Weave Plus, which is a tighter weave than the regular Pearl Weave fabric, shrinks less, and is incredibly soft. The jacket is also made from a single piece of fabric, with ample reinforcements in all the major stress points, and a synthetic heat resistant vulcanized rubber lapel, which keeps the gi light, allows for faster drying, and keeps your lapel fungus and bacteria free. The pants are made from 100% 10 oz drill cotton fabric, perfect for both the daily grind and the tournament setting.”

“On the other hand, I love the kingz classic 3.0 gi. I have competed in it several times and I train with a lot of guys that play spider. this gi is comfortable but still stiff enough that when you start fighting grips it’s hard to hold on“ –u/ChiisaiYamaArashi

What Jiujiteiros Are Saying
“Sanabul gis are cheap and nice if you’re on a budget but I’m not a fan of the branding all over it. Plus you see so many of them because they’re cheap and easy to get off Amazon. I had a grey one that lasted nearly 3 years with hard use. I bought another white one and it’s my go to beater gi.” –u/teejaydubz
10. Hyperfly
About The Brand
“Founded in 2011, the story of Hyperfly’s journey connects deeply to its mantra, “You Can’t Teach Heart.®. As authenticity, diligence, and perseverance have become the core values of the company, Hyperfly has been able to create a community of fighters who share the same DNA. To have heart is more than to practice discipline. It’s to push yourself even harder when everyone else quits. It’s to put in the work that no one else is willing to. It is not about how many wins you have or medals around your neck, but about what you gave of yourself in battle. It’s to live past the materialistic world of imaginary status and to bring your authentic greatness as a contribution to the world. It’s to fight for honor, not for gold.”
Featured Gi

11. Rolljunkie
About The Brand
“Rolljunkie was formed in 2012 by two brothers from New Jersey with a passion for jiu-jitsu. Like most of you, we train as often as we can, but we’re not BJJ world champions (although we train with a few). When we created Rolljunkie, we started with clean basic designs, something that was hard to find at the time in a market flooded with loud MMA branded styles. Over the years, our brand and our style has evolved and improved. We still roll out products with clean stylish designs, but we also drop a steady stream of limited releases with creative designs that are as unique as you are. If you want to rock gear on the mats that looks clean and cool, you came to the right place. But if you’d rather wear something that turns heads and gets people asking where you got that sick

We are a Brazilian JiuJitsu lifestyle brand and our products will reflect this. We are not for the tough guys, our logo is a clear indication of what we are about. Initial product offerings included a specialized series of fight gloves, rash guards and fight shorts, since these were the fundamental training tools fighters required. The products were created with a focus on producing equipment and apparel that could meet and exceed the requirements and demands of a new era of athletes. Hayabusa has maintained a research-based approach to conceptualizing, designing, testing and manufacturing its products. These are driving factors as to how Hayabusa constructs the best equipment in terms of comfort, fit, feel, and most importantly, performance and safety. A martial artist is continuously learning and improving their craft, a philosophy called Kaizen. Hi there I am emailing about possible sponsorship. Is there a criteria for this. I am a blue belt juvenile from the uk who has trained for 4 years. I am the no gi European champion (division and open class) Silver medalist at no gi worlds (division and open class) Bronze medalist at Europeans (division and open weight) I am looking to really push on this year at hit both world championships and no gi pans. And a elite brand like hyperfly could hopefully help me by supplying me my kit! Hope to hear back!
Hey Ben — my site isn’t a brand, it’s a blog. Try reaching out to Hypefury directly and see if they can help! Best of luck.

How could you fail to mention shogun fight? I have a few Uniforms and No GI and they are way better than most of the ones you mentioned here and they are equal to any in quality. They have the best-looking uniforms and rashguards on the market. Vinny Maghales wears them. How can you make a top 10 even and not even mention them??
Very cool, I’ll check out Shogun’s BJJ gis. 👊
